I was going to write some slick little rap to introduce these fabbo award-winning books (WE WON THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE CHILDREN'S BOOK AWARD and THE EXPERIAN BIG 3 BOOK AWARD...aren't we clever?) from Orchard Books, but Tony Mitton (the tremendously talented author) does it so much better. All I'd say is that if you like a bit of rap with yer reading then you can't go wrong with this bunch. My personal faves are the 'Greek Myth' series which trip-hop along quite attractively and bring all those dusty old Greek dudes bang up to date.
Oh, and the books are packed solid of some spiffy illustrations by yours truly (that's ME for the slower-witted amongst our lovely lovely readers).
Why not make me and Tone a little bit happier and buy a couple of dozen copies of each? No? Well make it just the one then . . .
